Sans serif
Guia visual para iniciantes no design de fontes
Bruno Barros
Sans serif presents the development and validation of a visual teaching resource for beginners in type design, designed to support independent learning and to make up for the scarcity of clear, accessible introductory materials. The project comprises the creation of an original digital typeface, in a sans serif style, designed to highlight principles such as formal consistency, proportion and optical compensation, and a printed manual organized in two parts: a visual introduction to the basic concepts, and an alphabetical section devoted to the capitals, with annotated enlargements, construction variations and visual comparisons.
