O espaço do silêncio
Articulação do design editorial na arquitetura paisagista
Leonor Ribeiro
This work analyzes the importance of empty space in editorial design, particularly in communicating landscape architecture projects, taking the Parque da Alameda de Cartes (PAC) as a case study. It explores how negative space, often seen as absence, can be an essential aesthetic component that shapes the perception of form. Through a minimalist approach and the use of a modular grid, the study emphasizes the relationship between filled and empty spaces, promoting a more intuitive reading of the projects. The research revisits graphic design theories that highlight the value of empty space, proposing good design practices in environmental education and awareness, based on some of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). The result was applied in the creation of a book that explores the PAC project.
