Newspaper
Ana Catarina Marques, Hugo Costa and Marta Cabral
The project is a fashion publication in newspaper format, created to question conventional ways of representing and documenting fashion. Developed for Art Direction, it seeks to bridge the magazine and the newspaper. Issue 3, developed here, is dedicated to the Fall/Winter 2026 collections. Its content brings together photography, texts and other editorial elements that document fashion in a critical, direct and unconventional way. The art direction builds on the relationship between fashion, image and editorial culture to create a contemporary visual language, removed from traditional fashion-magazine models. Typographic composition, content organization, the selection and treatment of images and the newspaper format itself are explored as core elements of the publication’s identity. The format also celebrates materiality and print, reinforcing the publication as a physical, collectible object.
