Nerves examines patterns and visual trends, and develops the graphic analysis of a selection of leaves that are in our daily lives, that may be invisible but that enclose a world of magic and unique beauty. Leaves are wonders of nature that enclose a world of diversity and complexity. From lush tropical forests to arid deserts, leaves are a ubiquitous feature of flora. Not only are they beautiful to look at, they also play a critical role in the survival and functioning of plants. This book takes a look at leaf morphology in a selection of plants, exploring both their beauty and their amazing functionality for design and art.
