The Postage in War
Hugo Costa, Juhan Reis and Moritz Wizany
This project is a re-edition of The Postage Stamp in War by Fred J. Melville, originally published in London in 1915. Starting from the relationship between the postage stamp and the representation of the State, it explores how these communication objects can work as instruments for building and projecting national identities, particularly in times of political transformation.

The re-edition preserves the documentary and historical character of the original publication while reinterpreting it through a contemporary editorial approach.
