“Página Inicial” (Home Page) proposes a reading of Google Doodles as small visual interruptions of an everyday interface. The project moves these images from screen to book, turning a digital, ephemeral and functional experience into a physical, sequential and interactive one. Through fragments, folds, movement and color, the book explores the relationship between interface, memory and cultural identity, paying particular attention to how Portugal is represented in this global universe. More than collecting images, “Página Inicial” seeks to slow down our gaze on what usually goes unnoticed.
