Judged by the Cover is an informative visual catalog exploring the intersection of music and design through 200 iconic album covers, selected for their relevance or controversy.

Conceived as an archival catalog, the publication adopts a contemporary visual language able to host the aesthetic diversity of the albums without clashing with their individual identities. Albums are organized by decade, with special layouts highlighting the most significant covers and generally two albums per page.
The project went through a first proposal, a restructuring phase — with a stronger focus on the albums and the addition of a complementary appendix — and a final proposal, defining technical specifications, typography, dimensions and decade dividers (1950–2020).
