The project Interface: belongs to the Project curricular unit in Graphic and Editorial Design, whose central aim is to explore the boundaries between the practice of the designer and that of the editor, reflecting critically on project methodologies, both analog and digital. From this premise, the work developed around the creation of an editorial artifact that crosses human consciousness with artificial intelligence, in a space of philosophical and aesthetic questioning.

The approach began with an exercise in defining a research territory centered on questions of memory, error and the glitch as revelation. The brief steered the project toward an editorial object that is at once poetic and experimental, combining fragments of text with graphic and typographic solutions that evoke the tension between the organic and the algorithmic.

Formally, the project sets up a dialogue between analog composition techniques and editing and programming software, exploring typographic variables, digital textures and the visual manipulation of code. The design was built to reinforce the fragmentary experience of the concept, inviting the reader to take an active part in the interpretative process.

The project’s contribution lies in problematizing the relationship between human and machine, between creation and automation, and in questioning the role of design as a critical practice capable of generating knowledge. In this sense, the artifact proposes an editorial experience that not only communicates but also questions and reveals the potential of graphic and communication design within the social and philosophical space.
