This project explores the representation of homosexuality and the experiences of queer people in sport, addressing different forms of visibility. The work is divided into two parts which, although distinct in approach, share a common reflection on how gay men are represented and how these identities are perceived. The first part focuses on the visual representation of intimacy between two men, through a collection of images evoking physical contact and the relationship between male bodies. The second part focuses on the experiences of queer people in sport, analyzing identity and sexual orientation in sport, with particular attention to the experiences of gay men in men’s sports.
