Francisco Modesto<\/strong> (The Chico Studio<\/a>), one of our alumni from the Multimedia Master (FEUP+FBAUP), and C\u00e9sar Martiniano<\/a> <\/strong>were shortlisted in the Typography Annual Competition for Communication Arts Magazine<\/strong> with the work “Archipelago Dada – Motion Video”, resulting from C\u00e9sar’s final type design research project <\/a><\/strong>from the MDGPE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We got shortlisted in the Typography Annual Competition for @communicationarts Magazine with the work “Archipelago Dada – Motion Video” the research of @1martiniano and @pedamado.<\/p>

Communication Arts, the largest international trade journal of visual communications, just selected the work, “Archipelago Dada – Motion Video”, to be shortlisted in the competition of best use of typography as the primary visual element in design and advertising, plus new typeface designs, calligraphy and hand lettering in this edition.<\/p>

This year competition received over 1100 entries all across the world and we are glad to be part of the selection of 28% in this finalist shortlist. However, we weren’t selected to be featured in the annual publication. Special thanks to the jury of this competition and everyone involved in the process.<\/p>
