“Te falta salsa!!!” is an intimate journey to the heart of salsa music, told through WhatsApp conversations between a father and his son. Through debates, songs and fragments of lyrics, the book reveals the deep connection between them, where music becomes a language, a bond and an expression of what sometimes cannot be said in words.

In these pages there is always a song for every moment: to celebrate, remember, laugh or reflect. Sending a song becomes an act of dialogue and complicity that strengthens the relationship between father and son.

The book also begins with the time 4:72 on the cover — a time that does not exist, but that refers to Colombia’s postal code “472”, taking the son back to his place of origin and evoking memories and sensations that only music can awaken.

This book plays with record covers, photographs of artists and song lines overlaid on images, with vibrant colors that bring every page to life. Every detail reflects the passion, joy and rhythm of salsa.

With a message that resonates like a piece of loving advice, “Te falta salsa”, the book invites the reader to dive into a journey full of rhythm, history and emotion, until they find all the salsa they need to fill their life with good music.
