Embodied stems from the premise of creating a publication made up solely of operational images, [almost] without using any text. As a starting point for building a narrative, the project draws on Vogue magazine\u2019s digital series In The Bag. In it, a series of celebrities are invited to present their bags and the objects they carry in them every day. Over the years, it became noticeable that the objects shown were certainly performative. Even so, the series continues today with countless views and amateur replicas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In The Bag, used satirically, serves to create a contrast with the presence of these images. They include X-ray records exposing foreign bodies lodged in different bodies, or clothing prints pressed against the skin. This experimental publication relies mostly on manual intervention in the images, since it arises from an exploration between the organic \u2014 through pages tinted with brushstrokes of a mixture of chicory and coffee \u2014 and the mechanized, robotic \u2014 through the use of CLA paper in the text block, one of the most commercial papers in editorial design. Parallel discourses emerge. Bodies try to inhabit objects; objects inhabit bodies. Metaphorically, it represents the precariousness of the creation and consumption of \u201cfast fashion\u201d and of digital hunger. Here, finally, body and machine merge. What is deeply human is finally, deeply, free of itself alone. Sentimental computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
