Developed from the selection of three objects representing three different people \u2014 my grandfather, my mother and myself \u2014, Ao Sopro da Terra grows out of an exploratory journey through grief, memory, tenderness and nostalgia. A tribute to the lives of two people I lost far too soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The book is a dialogue between photographs and illustrations that paint memories, more or less clear, of a poem written from the three chosen objects. Ao Sopro da Terra was printed using the cyanotype technique on a book made of unbleached cotton cloth, going through a bleaching and toning process to change the original color of the cyanotype.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mental landscapes, physical landscapes, landscapes that no longer are, traces, recollections, and the passing of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
