It explores typography\u2019s ability to act not only as a vehicle for content but as a visual, expressive and compositional element.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Limited to black and white and without non-typographic images, the publication builds its language solely from letters, words, weights, scales, rhythms and relationships between text and space. Typography is manipulated to create contrasts, textures and visual tensions, setting up a dialogue between the formal dimension of the page and the analytical content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The editorial structure weaves together excerpts from texts on design and typography, including \u201cAbout the Word Design\u201d by Vil\u00e9m Flusser, \u201cUnder the Surface of Style\u201d and \u201cTypography as Discourse\u201d (1988).
