Only a few capitals of the original were available – no complete alphabet, lowercase or other characters – which led to a process of reconstruction and interpretation of the existing forms.

The lettering was identified as a Garalde-influenced serif with Humanist traits and a visual language close to Art Deco. From the original forms and the analysis of references such as Requiem and ITC Veljović, a complete type system was developed, with upper and lowercase, figures, punctuation and accents, plus Display, Text and Italic styles.

The project sought to preserve the expressive, distinctive character of the original lettering while expanding it for more versatile contemporary use, adapting it to both digital media and editorial contexts.

Imprint / Technical Rider:

Year: 2026
Dimensions: 140 × 280 mm; 28 pages
Materials: Munken Lynx 120 g/m².
Production and finishing: Digital printing (Personalizart); saddle-stitched.
Resources and credits: Typeface design: FontLab 8.
