Visual stereotypes are graphic representations that<br>reinforce prejudices about specific groups. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This work investigates the use of visual stereotypes on the covers of Chimamanda Adichie&#8217;s books, through graphic and semiotic analysis. The research seeks to identify standards that reinforce prejudices related to gender, race, and location. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The graphic elements present on the covers of the seven books were analyzed by the author, seeking to understand how they can perpetuate stereotypes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The results intend to promote a reflection on how the design of<br>covers conveys symbols that reinforce prejudices.
